About Enliven

Enliven was born…

after seeing too many families struggle when their financial situation changes. In my role as a financial planner, I began to regularly advocate solid, well considered back up plans.

I have over ten years experience in the financial services industry.

My qualifications in both Mortgage Broking and Financial Planning are unique and put me in a special position to offer as much financial advice for my clients.

I then developed a niche in finance coaching as a money mentor.

My purpose is to save money on mortgages and business loans, educate women who are managing their families finances, and show my clients how to maintain their lifestyle and pay off their debts.

My qualifications and experience in the industry help me to structure finances for clients with increased knowledge of the complexities of financial law.

I also offer fully protected home loans to my clients. This ensures my clients have total peace of mind when it comes to their families financial security in the case of critical illness, disability, or loss of life.

Empowering women

In 2015, I started a plan to begin to educate and empower women to make more informed financial decisions.

What I’ve experienced in my years in the industry is that although the decisions are generally joint ones at the end point, it’s the woman who usually shops around for finance assistance and makes daily decisions around the family money.

My purpose is to assist women in managing their finances more confidently, so they can empower themselves and educate their family.

I am a finance coach and money mentor

backed up with years of experience and knowledge in the financial industry.

My team

CHRISTINE

Christine Dunkerton was working in employment and training for over a decade before taking the jump and followed her passion enrolling in her Cert IV in Mortgage Broking. She has gone on to enrol in her Diploma and is building her client base with many happy customers referring business her way. Chrissy is a successful property investor herself so understands and appreciates her clients’ concerns.

It’s not just about writing loans for Chrissy; she is also a passionate educator. Budgeting, structures, consolidating, and even vision boards are all part of the service she offers her clients, so when you finish dealings with her you not only are in a better financial position you actually have the knowledge which is the most beneficial tool of all.

Chrissy appreciates working with Leanne because of the importance Leanne places on the client coming first in any working relationship. With Leanne’s experience in financial planning, she truly brings a holistic approach to each situation. She can help on so many levels. For Chrissy, the most important part of being a member of Enliven is the thorough approach and the integrity the team brings to each client. The amount of repeat or referred business coming through the doors is testament to that.

Danica

Danica provides Bookkeeping and Business Services for Leanne. Danica is also Leanne’s sister in law and enjoys working closely with Leanne to implement her visions for the business.

Danica’s background is in the training, mentoring and support of new entries to the workforce, with the occasional dabbling in finance. In 2015 Danica undertook a career change, studying a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Certificate IV in Accounting, and started working with Leanne.
Currently Danica is assisting Leanne with re-branding the business and is responsible for putting Leanne’s sometimes far-fetched ideas into reality.

Danica particularly enjoys working with Leanne because she can utilise her creative side to do exciting things like implement new social media strategies as well the work requiring her love for figures. It really is the best of both worlds! Working with your sister in law, for Danica, is surprisingly fun. She enjoys bringing some of Leanne’s “out there” ideas for business into actionable strategies, and seeing them come to fruition.

Danica has a passion for finance and figures, as well as the education and empowerment of people regarding their finances; making her a perfect fit for Enliven Finance.

More about Leanne

Working with Small Business Owners is one of the aspects of my business I love.

After running my own Small Business for 13 years, I really relate to individuals and families juggling it all. Small Business Owners have unique needs – they are time poor and usually have fluctuating income.

This is my speciality. I help Small Business Owners create financial freedom inside and outside their business. It’s work in high demand due to the large number of business owners who end up worse off than a salaried employee and rely on selling their business to fund their retirement but the actual sale value is often significantly overestimated.

As a wife and mother of three young children, I am passionate about working with families.

I understand the balancing act of running a business, working, raising a family, being active in your community, along with studying, maintaining a healthy relationship – all of these aspects of our busy lives need careful attention and lots of energy.

In many families, one parent leaves the workforce for sometimes lengthy periods to raise children. When they do go back to work it’s often on a different career path than the one they were on before children and usually for a part time wage. This leaves a huge gap in the pre-child income.

I regularly work with families who have accumulated debts to get the family through this time, debts that are difficult to repay even with both partners working. Suddenly there are new financial constraints – private school fees, braces, the need to move for work, changes in income – financial strains causing enormous burden for families.  We help plan for all of these scenarios, to reduce the stress when the situation arises.

In a professional capacity, reducing the day to day stress of money from a client’s world is a life changing experience. Families find they can focus and gain clarity on what they want to do with their life without the constant shadow of looming debt repayments and the endless cycle of being totally constrained by their finances.

My purpose is to change the way we feel about money, and, as a result, allow ourselves to live happier, more empowered lives.

I’m a supporter and community member of Women in Business.

I am a member of the Women’s Network Australia (WNA) for which I regularly write for their Working Women Magazine. I have been nominated for various awards, both local and state wide, for my work as a broker and financial planner and for educating women managing finances for families and small businesses.

I am the founder of a high level (by invite only) Female Entrepreneur Mastermind. I also manage several community orientated Facebook forums. I run workshops and retreats for women in business, mothers, and families…

to educate and empower.
